Iggy is a portable mood light that can be used both indoors and outdoors. It brings a warm, intimate light wherever it is needed.
Its finely crafted, classic silhouette pays homage to the original hand-held kerosene lamp design – but here, the oil reservoir is replaced by a solar panel and a high-performance, rechargeable battery. It's a lightweight yet solid piece – a worthy successor to the old storm lanterns.
Design Character
During the design process, we retained the mechanics of the original adjustment knob, which was previously used to move the wick and regulate the flame. In this modern version, the knob is used to adjust the light intensity, so we can create the ideal atmosphere.
The curved design of the lamp base is in harmony with the shape of the lampshade and also functions as a handy handle.
For indoor and outdoor use
The Iggy lamp is waterproof. By rotating the base, it can be held in hand, placed on a table, or even mounted on a wall – just like the original kerosene lamps.
Simple construction
Iggy has a deliberately simple structure – it consists of few parts, making it easy to manufacture. The lampshade and base are made of recycled plastic for lightness, while the knob and handle contain steel to ensure durability.
At the end of the product's life cycle, it can be completely disassembled and recycled.
