02 Engineering Design and Production Planning
We develop the detailed industrial design to suit the selected manufacturing processes, working with our engineering partner, CAD-Terv, or directly with your development team and manufacturing partners.
What's included:
- Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Mechanical and component design, including electronics integration.
- Prototype design, evaluation and testing.
- Manufacturing documentation: 3D CAD models, technical drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
- Support with manufacturer selection, pre-production planning and production launch preparation.
03 Branding, Packaging, and User Interface
We design the product’s visual identity, packaging and user interface as an integrated system alongside its physical design, ensuring a consistent brand experience from the first interaction through everyday use.
What's included:
- Product visual identity and graphics: markings, labels and graphics.
- Packaging design: integrating product protection, storage and presentation into a cohesive concept.
- User interface (UI) design integrated with physical controls.

Project Kickoff and Scope Definition
We review the project’s objectives, scope and, where relevant, its technical background. We define the target users, expected production volumes, budget and timeline. When necessary, we also conduct a technical feasibility assessment.
Deliverables: Agreed design brief, defined roles and project timeline.

Research and Orientation
We analyse the market landscape, competing products and use cases to identify key opportunities and establish the primary directions for the design process.
Deliverables: List of requirements, evaluation criteria and well-defined design directions.

Concept Design
We develop several distinct concepts exploring the product’s form and user experience, supported by sketches, 3D models and visualisations. We evaluate each concept in terms of technical implications, manufacturability and production volumes, then work with our client to select the direction for further development.
Deliverables: Selected and presented product concept.

Developing the Design Concept
We refine the product’s proportions, dimensions, materials and finishes, while developing the component breakdown, interfaces and user interaction details. Physical models allow us to evaluate scale and ergonomics, while close collaboration with engineers ensures that the external design and internal architecture evolve together.
Deliverables: Detailed industrial design and a 3D model ready for further engineering development.

Engineering Development and Prototyping
Working closely with engineers, we develop the mechanical structure, component interfaces and electronics integration. We use functional prototypes to evaluate assembly and usability against predefined criteria, incorporating the findings into the design while preserving the integrity of the original design concept.
Deliverables: Tested prototype and refined technical documentation.

Product Engineering
We adapt the designs and technical documentation to the manufacturer's requirements, assist with supplier selection when needed, and support pre-production and manufacturing preparation. We also represent the design intent throughout discussions with manufacturing partners.
Deliverables: Production-ready documentation (CAD models, technical drawings and bill of materials), along with support for the transition to manufacturing.
